Eddy has cerebral palsy and was helped by Variety with a grant from ankle-foot orthoses and a quickie wheelchair. Since then Eddy has been committed to helping other children who have special needs. For the last seven years he has fundraised in his community of Chilliwack and Abbotsford for the Kids Coin Drive for Variety. An incredible athelete, Eddy took part in the Canada Games last year on Prince Edward Island and competed in wheelchair racing.
