Groups Help with mountain of post Telethon work
When the 2,700 to 2,800 Telethon volunteers head home after the event, they pass the torch to a whole new group of people that look after the mountain of receipts, pledge forms and Robert Bateman posters that have to get out in the mail. This year the "clean up crew" got it done in record time!
Special thanks goes out to the wonderful groups that came in to help with the posters. The groups included Creation Technologies (who contributed over 70 hours of service!)
, the North Shore Energetic Wanderers Trefoil Guiders (back for the 5th time), 5th Chimo Pathfinders/Rangers, two ladies from KPMG and over 20 Miss World/Miss Canada Teen Global candidates.
