Since its inception in 1965, Variety – The Children’s Charity of BC has been raising funds and distributing grants throughout British Columbia to inspire hope, enrich lives and build a better future for children who have special needs. Over the last 45 years we have seen that the need for Variety’s help never goes away. In fact, it only increases. This is why our relationship with our donors and spreading the word of how Variety helps is a top priority. We depend on your support. Through your generosity and the hard work of our staff, members and volunteers, we have grown to be one of the most respected charities in the province.
At Variety, our primary responsibility is to the children of this province but it is also to you, our donors. We want you to know that we truly value your generosity and your loyalty. We appreciate every donor dollar that enters our office. This is why we keep our administration costs as low as possible, enabling more money to go directly where it is intended. It is because of you that children in BC receive the vital help they need which they otherwise may not be able to get.
