Golden Heart Community Achievement Award Dinner Fantastic Success!

– The  Golden Heart Community Achievement Award DInner was held at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on November 18th, in honour of the late Peter C. Toigo Sr. The event was a great success, raising $224,000 for children in British Columbia who have special needs.

Community Of Kamloops Comes Through For The Kids

Burnaby, BC (September 24, 2009) – Variety – The Children’s Charity is excited to announce that the seventh annual Variety Children’s Radiothon - broadcast live on B100 - raised $42,000 and gave out 328 Buddy Bears - all to support children in the community who have special needs.   

Local Children Raise Funds For Kids Who Have Special Needs

Burnaby, BC (September 1, 2009) – Young philanthropists from around the province were at the Sheraton Wall Centre in Vancouver on Tuesday, September 1st, to kick off the annual Kids Coin Drive for Variety. Last year, the province-wide fundraiser brought in over $250,000. Over the last eight years the campaign has raised more than $1.25 million.
