The 3rd Annual Mascot Race took place on Sunday, July 10th at Hastings Racecourse. Variety – The Children’s Charity’s Heartly and an incredible lineup of sixteen mascots gathered in an attempt to win first place in this hilarious race!
Some of the mascots racing for gold included: Mr. Fox of 99.3 The Fox, TV and Lampy of BC Hydro, Purdy’s Chocolate’s Philbert the Hedgehog, Jack the Giant of the Vancouver Giants and Chef Wasabi and Brown Bob Bear of the Vancouver Canadians! In the end, Bread Head of Cob's Bread was the winner. For those keeping track, it was his third straight win! Bob Brown Bear of the Vancouver Canadians and BreadHead won the hilarious first ever 3-legged Mascot race.
