Eight year old Kira is a happy little girl with a bright smile. Kira and her twin sister, Janelle, were born prematurely and as a result, Kira has spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy. Unable to sit or stand on her own without support, she requires the use of a wheelchair, custom seating, a walker and a stander. Kira's parents needed a specialized van to accommodate both her and her wheelchair.
Variety helped Kira's family with the purchase of a ramp and tie-downs to make their van wheelchair accessible. This has made it much easier for all of them to go out together as a family.
