Diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, Cameron’s mom, Lindsay knew her soon would need extra support at school. She paid for a private Psychoeducational Assessment for the 11-year-old from Prince George but couldn’t afford to pay for an Autism Assessment as well. That’s when she applied to Variety for a grant to cover a private Autism Assessment. Thanks to a $32,000 donation from the Prince George Community Foundation, Variety was able to fund an assessment for Cameron.
