Kaitlyn is a 15-year-old girl from Richmond who was diagnosed with a rare biochemical disease characterized by quadriparesis (weakness in all four limbs), hypotonia (low muscle tone), microcephaly and Global Developmental Delay which has limited her mobility. Through the years, Variety has provided most of Kaitlyn’s equipment and therapy. Today Kaitlyn is a happy & outgoing teenager who loves going to high school and being among her classmates.
