Seven years ago when Aubrey was 5 years old, she had a collision with another child on a playground slide and has been suffering from Post-Concussion Syndrome ever since. She experiences severe migraine headaches and struggles with math, reading & spelling in the classroom. Last year, Variety stepped in to provide the 12-year-old from Vancouver with individualized tutoring sessions which helped her successfully complete Grade 6 while improving her self-confidence.
