6-year-old Ethan’s parents noticed he had a speech delay, and at first they didn’t know anything about autism. He first attended public speech & language therapy sessions, but he aged out when he entered kindergarten. At that point, his family had to turn to private therapy sessions which come with a hefty price tag. Variety funded Ethan with an autism assessment as well as private speech & language therapy sessions. It has made a huge difference in his speech development, and his mom is so excited to see his improvement in school.
